The purpose of this project might be summed up with two basic questions: First, does sustainability involve something about ourselves and our worlds that goes deeper than our behaviours, our technologies, or our policies? That is, is there something about how we imagine what sort of a thing the world is, or what sort of a thing humans are, that influences our capacity to realize sustainability? Secondly, if a layer such as this does exist, might an intersection between art and scenario analysis offer the means to foster some reflexive engagement with it?
